Presenting the 2024 Porsche Cayenne
The Porsche Cayenne embodies sports car spirit in an SUV package, creating a machine that is just as engaging to drive as it is practical. Since its introduction in 2002, the Cayenne has captivated Porsche fans and car enthusiasts alike, and the new 2024 model is no exception. With changes to the powertrain, chassis, design, and in-car technology, the 2024 Cayenne continues to push the boundaries of luxury, comfort, and capability.
From the driver’s seat, you will find a completely redesigned display. Porsche Driver Experience (first introduced in the Taycan), focuses on the driver and optimizing operation. Controls that are frequently used are located either directly on or near the steering wheel, leaving ample room for storage, climate controls, and the all-new 12.6” instrument cluster. The new cluster ties into the standard 12.3” central Porsche Communication Management display, allowing for seamless operation of all of the Cayenne’s relevant functions, including native apps for Spotify and Apple Music.
On the exterior, the redesigned front end boasts more athletically styled fenders, redesigned headlights, and a new hood. New tail light designs, along with an integrated license plate holder, and other small changes, give the 2024 Cayenne a very athletic presence. 3 new colors, and an extensive range of wheels are available for this new iteration of the Cayenne, allowing for a very high degree of customization.
We launched our 2024 Cayenne Turbo GT on October 19th at Boyd Plaza, in downtown Columbia SC. It was truly a special moment to share with our customers, friends, and local PCA members. Given the chance to get up close and personal with the 2024 Cayenne, everyone was thrilled to take in the updates. Excitement filled the venue as we discussed not only what Porsche had accomplished in the new Cayenne, but also what all is still to come. If you’re a fan of Porsche, or even just cars in general, you’ll be a fan of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne.
Many of you may have joined us at Hunter-Gatherer for the Three Rivers Region Porsche Club of America’s Concours d’Elegance back in April. The day was filled with food, drinks, friends, and plenty of beautiful cars.
Among all of the fun that was had, the Three Rivers Region PCA raised $7,500 to donate to Camp Kemo, a local organization that supports children & their families being served by the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands.
Camp Kemo provides camps and other social actives to young patients and their families in the Midlands. Their main goal is to “enrich the lives of children with cancer and blood disorders and improve outcomes”.
McDaniels Porsche is alway thrilled to support the Three Rivers Region PCA, and our midlands community.

Celebrating Porsche’s 75th Anniversary.
Ferry Porsche once said “In the beginning, I looked around and could not find quite the car I dreamed of. So I decided to build it myself”. Whether you have your own or are just a fan of the brand, a Porsche is more than just a car. A Porsche is the mechanism for new experiences, friendships, memories… As well as being at the forefront of automotive and motorsport innovation. These are just a few of the ideas and accomplishments celebrated by Porsche.
As an example of Porsche passion, the first Sportscar Together Day was established in 2018, 70 years after the initial introduction of the Porsche. This celebration of “Fascination Sports Car” gives Porsche lovers a time and place to share their enthusiasm, and experience how special Porsche is as more than just a brand or car. One huge part of this celebration is looking back at how far Porsche has come, and identifying and enjoying the state-of-the-art features that Porsche’s cars have boasted throughout the decades.
Whether you love the Porsche for its dominance in the motorsport world, or simply because of how good it looks, there’s plenty to celebrate. 2022 saw the final rounds of the Porsche classic restoration challenge, Which welcomed Porsches from the 1970s through 1990s. Iconic models such as the 1996 911 Carrera 4S, 1989 911 Turbo, And 1989 911 Turbo Slant Nose Targa were just a few of the models present. If race cars are more your speed, there was also Carrera Cup racing, featuring a few familiar faces such as Jeff Gordon in his personal GT3 Cup Car.
Even if you don’t own a Porsche, your local Porsche center, McDaniels Porsche, is planning a wonderful excuse to celebrate the impact that Porsche has had on the automotive and Motorsports industry as a whole. Be on the lookout for more info about our own day to celebrate Porsche’s 75th anniversary here in Columbia, on June 10th at Soda City.
Use this day as an excuse to enjoy your sports car with friends. As Porsche says,

Watch the Panamera Turbo S Take on Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
